This Wiki has been created to improve the company's knowledge base.

The reality is that we clearly need a wiki. It's fast and searchable. The knowledge embedded in it can be edited by practically anyone. It's clearly a better solution than having a collection of Powerpoint decks.

-While I'm committed to staying with Allnex until I retire, the experience of working within the company is sometimes intensely frustrating.  A serious example is the use of Powerpoint presentations for training and then as the first line of help available for gathering information needed to perform tasks.  The shortcomings are obvious.  How do you know which Powerpoint file you need to look at?  How many do you need to check before you find the right one?  Does the information that you need actually exist within any of the available Powerpoint files? No amount of discussion within the company seems to have got to anyone that can make a change.  So the time has come for me to spend my own money.
